About This File

A power facility built into the side of a mountain. I included the (heavily modified) texture wad (ogrodtx2.wad) in case anyone wants to use it for their levels. Just please credit me in addition to the credited people below.

A very good level with a tight item balance but still playable if you're careful, with lots of suspense against tough monsters.

As a showcase, this holds its weight. Portals create cool 3D effects, and the bundled texture pack, which SoM had a hand in editing, is underused and intriguing -- lots of sooty blacks, grungy metals, and well-drawn, fearsome icons. The visuals can be spotty (a few rooms are barer than the rest, giving them an "unfinished" look), but pretty ideas are common.

Purely as a play experience, it shows its age; shotgunning a pair of mancubi in a tunnel and SSG-ing a lone baron isn't riveting these days. Progression is cryptic and mysterious, given to long stretches of silent backtracking, so YMMV.

A not-too-hard and kinda copypaste-detailed map with some great lightsourcing, textured similar to Gothic99 but different. No doubt exists to show off a few Eternity-specific features, which is cool as who would know the engine better than the guy who wrote it! 4/5

It works fine. Check that you are loading the texture wad (included) and that you are using Eternity3.31 Prealpha 2 or later. Please don't give wads a poor rating just because you haven't read the text-file. 5/5

Great stuff. Showing off what Eternity has to offer aswell as being a damn good map in it's own rights. 4/5 - Kristus.

It's a good WAD but it has some issues.... Maybe that's Eternity's fault though, I don't know.... Anyways I think SoM needs to make more WADs.... -GeeDawgg

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
