It's a shame map24 and map32 don't work in Boom.

An excellent collection of levels. Like any community project, there are a few duds in here (mainly Gene Bird's levels, which need a LOT more work on architecture), but besides these, almost every other level is excellent. There are some innovative maps as well. Difinitely a must-play.

There seems to be a bug in the second map (coolant platform). There pops up a switch but nothing happens, and there's no way to open ANY of the doors on both sides... Running in Zdaemon...

This was much better than the first CC, but still, there were no truly great levels and too many previously released and/or crappy maps. The best ones are maps 27 and 24.

The Gene Bird maps were added at the end when people dropped out to fill empty slots.

Mixed bag. Most levels are challenging and enjoyable. Some are stupidly hard and beyond frustrating. Level 15 was very glitchy. Enemies were teleporting around randomly. I also had some weird health glitch where if I dropped below 100 health I would die. I had to IDDQD to get out of it. Overall it is worth playing through. The few bad levels don't drag it down too much. I doubt I will play through it again though. 4/5

Whoever did map24 should be prized as an insane genius! Map 23 was interesting and unique! Map 20 was good. The rest? Unlike the dissapointing and largely uninteresting cc1, this one has some stuff that make it worth a play, unfortunately the quality rampages from bad to good in and out with crazy speed, and like all joint projects where too many people are involved it ends up feeling like an incoherent mass of maps thrown together randomly without a consistent theme. Overrated... a 3!

Good megawad. Loses 1 mark for having a big mix of good and bad levels, instead of having mainly good levels. Loses another half a mark for being a plain community pack rather than a story/theme based megawad. True rating 3.5/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
