highly detailed and atmospheric tech map. zdoom map i think as i got stuck before redkey in prboom+..although visually extraordinary but design and layout is bit obsessed with hallways...gameplay is balanced...a nice effort

I enjoyed it. I suck at killing. But attention to detail, sounds and music was excellent. Hobomaster always seems to impress me with the small stuff. I really like the simple but neato portals later in the map. Play it now, or the ninjas will come, and poke out your eyeballs

Lovely high-tech design, with a nice spacey sky. The level is very linear and grid-like, and as some of the other reviews point out it's a matter of fighting to a switch, flicking it, running back a while through a newly-opened door, flicking a switch etc. It's tense because there's little ammo; unless you jump there's at least one place you can get stuck (a clip hidden behind a pillar enticed me). What the fuck is a Sonoflange?

The year is 2004, the port: zdoom. A new revolution in gameplay ever since Hexen was introduced into the zdoom system, called switchhunting. This combined with the backtracking of Eternal Doom created a sentient virus within the doom community creating maps that were easily made within minutes because of the dumb gameplay design, leaving the author to spend the rest of the hours tacking on ugly detail. It's not as bad is it has gotten recently. 4/5

very good ol'chap very intreasting indeed. i love it but the problem is the ammo and health but very good i would give it a 5/5 still cuz im nice..... maybe mean at times >:D

This is just another one of the large number of Great maps built by the hobomaster. Yet again I loved the detail and the choice of weapons, little short in ammo at the start but got better. I was doing pretty good untill a Archvile killed me, but I tried a few more times and finally was able to finish the level in 1 life. Keep up the Great mapping hobomaster22, I look forward for seeing other projects from you -Marine

Well this is a strange map. On one hand we have design and detailing that is a work of art, on the other we have rather annoying gameplay quirks. Unnecessary backtracking that breaks the flow of the map, occasional health and ammo problems and some monster placement mistakes. I know that I can't give a 3, but I don't really feel that the map deserves a 4. 3.5 would be perfect. 4/5 - Belial

The only reason i gave 4/5 was in my opinion, there wasn't enough ammo. Had to resort to a few fist fights with spectures and cacos here and there. But the map was simply amazing. Wonderful detailed tech base. Game play was alright..

This is an entertaining map, with an angelovely hi-tech look that's never fussy. The gameplay is a bit anal, though; especially in the early stages you have to hoard every pistol clip, painstakingly shoot each imp dead centre with one shotgun shell at close range, chaingun snipe every zombie with three shots etc. As mentioned, the gameplay involves running to a switch and then running back, but it looks good, and there's enough action to make it feel worthwhile.

      Insanity, with voodoo dolls (see second screenshot).  I get the idea of a shooting gallery if that rocks your boat, but 6000 monsters behind railings- as far as the eye can see, FFS! My PC crawled when I looked towards the invuln spheres (someone said 32 k of them and you can't avoid picking up thousands at a time). In the end I cheated with god mode and no-clipping, and waded in among the chaingunners until I got bored.

      Simple, clearly a first wad.  All on the flat with big, brightly lit, and architecturally implausible rooms. The first map has two rooms, the second map one, and the third map one plus a kind of exit lobby. You can do one of two things - just run past the monsters and finish (I did it in 35 seconds), or have a bit of fun killing the monsters first. No noticable bugs. I hope the author will go on (or went on) to greater things.

      Absolutely ludicrous, Now I need a new keyboard. Technically as bad as a wad can be, surely deliberate. I like to check out low-rated wads, so it's a pity that some clowns gave this  (and other bad ones) 5 stars, because averaged with correct low scores they end up with a middling rating and can be missed.
