About This File

UAC constructed a bolt-hole on the dark side of the moon which was terraformed for the purpose. It was known as the Waterwheel because of its shape. When you completed the cleanup at Deimos you were warped to the Waterwheel because the infestation had spread even there. You find yourself transported to the centre of the Waterwheel and need to find your way to the exit warp-point cleaning up as you go.

Sadly, the hell spawn has already carved holes into the roof and the upper levels have been flooded. Fortunately, door blocks have prevented the flooding from spreading to the control rooms that make up the wheel(s) and the lower levels where the bugs from hell have constructed their dead-rooms.

Yet another example of a relatively enjoyable map ruined by a pointless and incomprehensible teleport maze. There is only ever one real result with this type of garbage - user irritation often resulting in game quits and file deletion. Why do people do this? Do you assume your being "creative"? No, your being lazy and stupid. Future mappers - don't do this if you want people to leave nice comments.

In many respects it's a decent level, but I have to agree with the guys above about the unmarked teleporters (i.e., the teleporter maze). It's pretty annoying, especially if you try killing all the monsters, that themselves get caught in the maze. [2/5] ~Chain Mail (11/2007)

This wad is dated August 08, 1997. Most impressive, with a great architecture and a gameplay like we are used with John Bishop!!! 4 stars - Jive

Cramped, crowded, and a little monotonous. Some pleasant rooms though and nice detail on the whole. *** -sargebaldy

It's a 1996-1997 wad for sure, but it holds up well. I like the cramped battles, and overall the gameplay is good. I'm going to deduct a few points because the water wheels are kind of ugly and it's hard to know where to go next. You have to be able to find relatively well hidden rooms to get to some of the keys so you can progress, which I don't like. I almosted cheated to figure out the rest of the level but I decided to try again later. Otherwise a good level.

Fairly good, large map. Somewhat marred by the teleporter mazes towards the end though.

3/5 There are some nice details here, like the floor-level lights, but the waterwheels themselves are fairly bland. There's a few good fights, like in the long northern area, but most of the action is dragged down by mandatory secrets that devolve into wall-pushing, and the teleport maze is annoying. I did like the ending sequence, however, with the floor trap. - KMX E XII

One problem about this, is when I played those 2 levels speaking of stupid and blue radishes with herpes is it caused massive lag to my computer, and the secret exit in omg counterstrike leads back to level 36 instead of going to the 4 or 5 portals.

I took a little looskie at the mod just now and the only two things that I hate are the fact that the porn in hand is low-les, and also that there is no cuntboy dragon bdsm hentai. A sarcastic 5 stars, In reality, probably 0.000000000000000000000001 out of 5 stars...     Pretty sure I can do a better porn-themed graphics replacement... CUM to think of it, I fucking will >:D

Never thought of Star Wars theme added with pr0n but ok... anyway a small demo map pretty badly textured, but the movie creation is good, even if in the end the textures are pretty badly compressed.

I put 5 stars because I found it enjoyable. No it does not have super detailed design but it does have details that make it an enjoyable game play. the way textures line up perfectly for example buttons on a washing machine and the railing for the stairs is very clever and Its cool to see the use of textures in this way.
I enjoyed the lack of linear game play and the lack of typical puzzle solving. You sneak around the houses and with uncertainty what is around each corner you find that the monsters keep coming out of nowhere. The houses give you cover to protect your self and its cool to see the little details in each house. There is more than enough ammunition and you wont be able to pick up every item. Its very fun to play doom in this more relaxed free roam style.
To those who have played many doom levels and have high expectations you may dislike this map but for someone like me who likes the older style of maps its very enjoyable.
