Its pretty boring. There's some alright architecture along the way but nothing mindblowing. Some gameplay hangups exist in the harder difficulty settings, but all in all it's a fun little map to blast through 3/5

A huge map with excellent gameplay. Not exactly the kind of thing I'd usually like, but this is a nice long play (I took 42 minutes on it) with great level progression and some ridiculous battles. Despite its look, it's not actually that hard, I managed to finish on UV with a lot of health and ammo left over. ***** -sargebaldy

This is dated February 2005. It's one of those man-sized levels with a decent monster count (603 of the little bastards). Despite this it's surprisingly mellow; you get loads of ammo and there's usually plenty of space to dodge. Starts off cramped and ordinary, then turns into a large-scale open-plan castle which is the best bit. The giant cathedral at the end is packed with baddies but you can just run around in circles.

This map kicks ass man. Tons of monsters and being easy on the eyes makes this level one to download now. I gave it a go on UV and had plenty of ammo and enough health to survive. It was not easy getting to the end. 6/3/07

"Wow" does not even begin to explain it. I'm going to be having Nightmares on this one.

To be honest I found this kinda boring and too linear. The constant traps got a bit tiresome for me, plus the constant use of chaingunners just to chip away at health a bit annoying. Ok map, but I'm only giving it 3/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
