Those maps are very, very short, but render very well ! They even feels like E2 of DOOM I in a more modern and polished way.

Texturing/lighting is well done and the levels layout is pleasing. Loved it, and would had liked even more !

This wad uses some nice texture usage and enemy choice and placement.

Some of the traps can be evil when unexpected. You have only used stock DOOM II textures but still made some nice-looking rooms. You only made three levels in this wad but still managed to make fun and nice-looking wads. Good Job, 5/5.

Very short, @ UV about 4 minutes for 3 levels. Layout is basic and simple. Texture use and lightning make a nice nostalgic ambiance. Gameplay is short, not innovative and simple. Overall it gives the impression of trying-out some ideas. Small 3* because it shows some qualities raising it above plain meh.

000emg is a wad that proves that you do not need to make a long, multi-month in the making, 32-map megawad to make a Doom wad that is fun and exciting. 4 Stars! -SilentDarkness12

This map can only be played on UV and NM because you forget to get the teleports and keys on easy and medium.

Although Paul is one of my favorite level authors, these levels were too small and too simple. I finished the whole thing in under 5 minutes. 2 stars.

Pretty fun, with a strong retro feeling, though way too short, in my opinion. 3/5 - printz

I enjoyed this one, the lighting is excellent, the levels are small with a good retro look and the fights are mostly cramped. 4/5

Damn good for such a minor map. ^_^; It's a blast to run through no matter which way you do, and if someone hasn't recorded demos for this yet, they should.

Par times were a bit high. I beat them in my first try in map2 and 3. 4 stars from coldfusio.

Great fun, and it would be interesting to see a whole megawad done in this style. None of the levels take more than a couple of minutes to finish and there are no slow bits, it's pretty much constant fighting. One of the traps is repeated, but there's no faff. I remember the days when Doom levels were shit but the authors could spell words like "emergency". Author went on to do "Death Tormention" which is pseudo-English.

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
