Okay... I hereby declare this to be my LAST DeHackEd-based weapons mod I'm ever going to make. Why? Because, DECORATE based weapons are finally here (and I mean it this time... I have a whole other mod finished using that system, but I can't release it yet due to the DECORATE weapon system only being available in a hacked version of Zdoom. DECORATE weapons WILL be available in the next official release, so I have to wait for that before I can release that mod.)

So therefore, seeing that this is my last DEHACKED mod, I've made this one as BIG as possible (big as in good as well, heh. The last time I said that a weapons mod was going to be my final Dehacked one was for Pyromaniac, and we all know how bad that wad turned out to be. :P)

So, let's see: we've got 17 new weapons this time, ranging from stuff like Slag Cannons, Tri-missile launchers, Corkscrew Laser Cannons, and the ever-popular Mobile Defense Turret. Basically, it's the largest (I think) weapon mod ever created for Zdoom, and I have to say that it's pretty damn good as well. It's slightly overpowered, so it's best to use it on stuff like Hell Revealed or Alien Vendetta. :P

I like this, something was just.. Fancy about the Doom Marine shooting BFG strikes out of his hands. I always said "HADOUKEN!" before I shot a BFG Blast. Maybe someone should make this for Edge. XD;;

Note to goons reviewing it about "it won't work": It requires Zdoom version .63a. REQUIRES IT. It will _NOT_ work with other versions, or Skulltag. You can get it off of the ZDoom downloads page.

Tried this on both ZDoom and Skulltag, and this weapon mod didn't work well with either of them. There are a few weapons that don't work on Skulltag, and a few weapons in ZDoom have screwed up animations and sprites (I have the latest version of ZDoom, 2.7.1.0). I'm sorry to say that this is easily Xaser's worst weapons mod, though a few of the weapons were decent, the rest were either broken or unspectacular. 1/5

thair are some super awsome guns but thain thair are 2 or 3 that seem to be incompleat, like when you shoot the rocket launcher it glitchis up and you see the old rockit launcher shooting.. 3/5 for being half-finished,

      Despite its age, nice details and well designed. Way how blue key is hidden is really clever. But map is dark and cramped. Enemies are only imps and hitscanners.

      Despite the browns and grays that are prominent in this megaWAD, I found it to be fun. I also found it to be quite the challenge. The first map gives you a taste of what to expect in terms of enemy encounters. The author makes good use of mid-tier enemies to apply pressure on the player. Monster count for most of the maps barely breaks the 150 mark but, as said before, the use of mostly mid-tier enemies puts pressure on the player. I also like how the megaWAD handles level progression. Most of the levels you go through consist of caves, cities, islands, and tech bases in space. In fact, there's only one real Hell-like level and even it's within the confines of the moon base you fight through in maps 21 - 30.   About the only gripes I have with this megaWAD are with regards to maps 32, 29, and 30. I know the text file and map 31 give warnings about map 32 but there really should be some kind of alternate exit in map 32 instead of trapping you in place if you don't pass one of the puzzles. I wasn't a fan of how close quarters the IoS fight was in map 29, especially since it can get cramped quickly with monster spawns. Finally, the randomization of what keys spawn during your escape in map 30 isn't fun either. 10 minutes seems like plenty of time but between navigating the vent system (again) without light goggles and dealing with mid-tier enemies, that 10 minutes can get eaten up really quick.   Overall, it's still a fun megaWAD. I'd recommend at least giving it a shot.
