About This File

A bunch of sounds from starcraft. Good for weapon modders. Comes in 8 bit and 16 bit flavor. 8 bit is recommended for edge and zdoom, 16 bit is for edge only.

It took you three days to take a few sounds from starcraft, and put them into a zipped Folder? Hmmm... There doesnt seem to be any work involved there, after all, if you download, and install the Starcraft sound Utility, then you automatically have all the different sounds in their folders for you... I like the idea, but there was really no point to this. 1 star

If you use the sounds in a game with a Blizzard engine, its allowed. So what the fuck are you going to use these for modding? A source mod, or a WarCraft III mod? WarCraft III? Yeah.

Umm, I thought this was supposed to be a DEHACK or a WAD replacing sounds... oh well, I'll give it a 1 for using sounds from Starcraft

"Permissions have been obtained from original authors for any of their resources modified or included in this file." What the fuck is that shit, you dumbass? Did you even obtain permission from Blizzard. Gawd, son of bitch. Fag, ZDoom can run 16 bit sounds and run any .wav sound even not in Doom Wav Format. Gay peice of shit. I'm better off using Starcraft Sound utility. N00b. Bleh.

Get over it people, it's the internet. Like anybody's gonna give a rat's ass about some random grunt ripping a few sounds. Not that it makes this pack any better...this sort of thing has been beaten to death since 1994, and seriously, when has anyone ever seen a worthwhile Doom sound replacement pack? They are either cacophonies, random ripoffs or just don't "stick" well with Doom. 0/5 Maes

Opps, apperantly the text won't appear. Well, this is me, CT. I will rate it only 0 like the last review, just to tell you what this pack is all about. This is a weapon sound pack with sounds from starcraft. It's a rescorce for weapon modders. 8 bit is for zdoom and edge, 16 bit is for edge.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
