Wow what a great little episode this is. All 3 maps are really good both design-wise and gameplay-wise. Give it a blast.

Exceptional in every way. It a real shame that author left Doom mapping.

Pretty neat, awesome looking wad with Quake 2 style playability, which is inevitably different than Doom's native one. I prefer the Doom's one, but still, I've enjoyed this wad a lot. One star down because there was a hardly noticeable mandatory switch in MAP01, which made me cheat and then quit during my first attempt. 4/5

holy shit this was cool, gameplay is quite progressive. although having a pistol for most of MAP01 was a bit uninspiring, the rest was good and never manages to be too unfair.

Real forgotten Zdoom gem. Must play for anyone who enjoys large, quasi non-linear exploration-driven maps with craploads of well hidden secrets. Reasonable difficulty, great visuals, excellent atmosphere. 'Tis a real shame that Author never finished rest of Zaero megawad, and even bigger shame that this masterpiece seems to be lost amid seas of time - despite obvious quality and high rating it is barely ever mentioned today and will likely be completely overlook'd by newer Doomers.

This is excellent ! We're waiting for you to continue this very good work. Levels and music are impressive, and your new monsters are really cool ( Cacolich, humm :) ). Great gameplay which reminds me of the first episode of Doom. 5 / 5 -- William H. aka Wilou84

This is unreal!! SO good. WOW. I played through the whole thing in one go and it was surreal. The pacing is excellent. This is far better than Quake 2, which shares the same theme. OMG so good. Music in my opinion is good as well, although I understand where you guys are coming from in your complaints about it. Dam DAm dam feels like I bought a new game. Congratulations!! --- 5 Stars.

Excellent. I wished he had finished this project. All this guy's other works are for D64.

4 1/2 starzzz = Pretty darned excellent! - however, I'm marking it down a half point 'coz I couldn't figure out how to open the little door to the left of the big slimepool in map 1. More pleeez...

Download is definitely worth it. The maps are challenging and you should keep an eye on your ammo list, because near the end I kept nearly running out of ammo. The maps are all quite large and complex. The secrets are very well hidden, and I only found half of them in every map. Maybe gameplay is a bit repetitive throughout the maps. They've all the same textures and ambience and the same monsters. But the finish brings a great change. 4/5 -Milian

I'm usually sceptical of these graphic-intensive wads; the gameplay is usually dire. But these levels are excellent. The maps are large and free-form but not impossible or confusing. The general grimy graphic style reminded me of bits of System Shock and Nintendo 64 Doom. I never listen to music when playing Doom. Lots of clever secrets that seem to involve shooting targets. Generally subtle new monsters, creative and subtle use of ZDoom features (slopes etc). Class.

Nice, long levels. There's a lot of back tracking and that can be annoying. The music is pretty good, but it should be available in a seperate download to reduce the size. Too bad there aren't any more levels.

Excellently done. I actually thought the music was pretty good. The levels are long and challenging, but not too challenging. Very fun. 5/5 -Zim

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
