A singular map designed solely for Coop mode. Infinite ammo should be turned on, and no difficulty levels whatsoever are present. Just blast your way through. Not very long either, maybe something to try and finish without dying.

If you give yourself all weapons and turn on god mode, which I did, then there might be some enjoyment. However, even for co-op play there isn't much in the way of engaging gameplay. Since there are basically no item pickups aside of weapons (one green armor and one medkit isn't much), you won't see any powerups to help you out. Initially, you'll just be blasting the Super Shotgun over and over on tough crowds, but things start to take a nosedive once Arch-Viles come in. It's annoying having to kill the same monsters repeatedly just to get a single Arch-Vile due to the cramped layout of the map, which restricts your movement with one way corridors.

 

Even when you are finally able to use something like a Rocket Launcher, you get greeted with multiple Cyberdemons so the tedium only gets worse. If this were a co-op session, the average player will just die repeatedly and get frustrated on the lack of any satisfying progress. As it is, you just go pick up keys, use switches, and witness more tough monsters spawning in high numbers in not so open rooms.

 

I should mention, the DeHackEd patch doesn't do much good in making the experience any better. It lowers the hit points of some monsters such as Revenants, which doesn't sound bad. Yet at the same time, it also raises the hit points of others such as Imps, which is redundant if players will just spam rockets and the likes. No amount of random map easter eggs can make this worthwhile.

Crazy map!!. I´m convinced this can be finished with the appropiate approach to monster fights. Just got to where the second Arch-Vile is but this is a real challenge. 4 stars for this... BUT, played like a regular Doom map, the map is a failure. 1 stars there. 3 stars in the end, since looks good and it´s somewhat addictive.

Even though it's mildly amusing, the 'I don't give a fuck about ammo and health so lets just call it an infinite ammo coop map' sucks. With some of the cybers removed, it would be playable solo as an infight-tyson map, right now the ammo and health saving is too time consuming and the red key fight is still impossible. Got bored after the yellow key bit. 2/5 - Belial.

This one seems to be infamous. It's a mid-sized techbase with 322 monsters packed quite tightly; you get some weapons at the start, but the fundamental problem is that you don't get any extra ammo at all. You can deal with the first couple of waves easily enough - the monsters are blocked by an invisible wall near the start - but even with prodigies of valour you will grind to a halt shortly afterwards. And if you played it infinite ammo co-op it would be dull.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

      What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

      thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

      Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
