About This File

An rather large hellish themed map, with new textures, sounds, monsters. Pretty hard from start to finish, only hellish creatures are used here no zombies. An decent ammount of secrets to be found, great detail but not overdone. Have fun :)

Danm I would have to say it would take some time to make a level like this. This level looks good and I think its pretty hard too. The only problem is the god damn lost soul pieces of shit, however very nice worth the download if you computer is halfway fast 2/28/07

Finally, some decorate monsters that weren't in the MRW. I was sure that map was loaded with them but then again, this map could've used some gameplay tweaks and at least five of those monsters from the MRW. Then again, a map that was worth taking on IMO.

Nice visuals and architechture. But also annoying gameplay, bad ammo balance. Sound effects are just bad. Visuals 4/5, gameplay 1/5, overall 3/5. -smm

I think the author strives too hard for detail and consequently does not refine gameplay to a high standard. I strongly disagree with his comment about detail; every wad he has made is overdetailed to the point that movement becomes jagged. Through his current maps, I feel that he is not fully showcasing his talent in level design. It would be much wiser to make smaller, less detailed maps so that players instead notice gameplay first, and detail second, like in "Scythe". 4/5

Awesome map. The new graphics are excellent, incredible detailing and great gameplay. Nicely balanced, didn't have any ammo or health problems. Good use of DECORATE monsters. Somewhat hard. 1h playtime. 4/5 - Belial

Looks awesome. The textures and detail is superb. Gameplay was pretty decent but near the end I was getting a lot of "What do I do now?". 5 stars.

Spectacular architecture, but it is a bit repetetive.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
