Similar to the famous 10sector contest idea, but taking it to the extreme, this collection of maps restricted its authors to only two sectors(!). I was surprised at how varying these levels were in terms of ideas used, design, and gameplay. Some maps aren't as good as others, but as a whole 2sectors is still a good set of small maps suitable for many styles of play. --4/5

Some of these maps are truly astounding given the strict limits to which they had to adhere. It's a shame that some don't function well with Doom2.exe (Medusa in several maps & even a VPO in map05), but for the most part this was in order to achieve specific effects that would otherwise that required more sectors. Many of the maps are fun to play too, and in several different ways/categories - see the demopack currently in progress.

Some maps are easily genius with nice details (for extreme limitation), but some are really simple and boring with gameplay issues. 3/5 Damned

The last three maps are quite poor (the last one is awful) but the first thirteen are mostly excellent fun, and a couple of them are even so well-designed that the design constraints were transparent. Map7 was much too hard for me. You're supposed to play each map from a pistol start. Although the map starts with the winner and goes down the list of entries I didn't notice a drop-off in quality until the last three maps.

Ah oui ça c'est vraiment bon quelques court tableau jouable et bonne chance au lv#10. J'ai passé le tout en 51:11 min et je suis décédé 11 fois. 5/5 - Eye's

Very good. My only issue is a lack of ammo but that's easily fixed.

Truly amazing. I had no idea that such creativity was even possible, and in particular MAP05 (Techbase with many zombies and imps) was an incredible feat, to the point that it almost felt like an ordinary Doom map. Some maps are a pain in the ass to play, but for the most part very good and incredible when working through such trying restrictions. Truly it is the restrained genius which is the most powerful.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
