About This File

You have just entered the secret BASE of the enemy. Your mission is to steal the heavily guarded backpack of jewels and reach the exit alive. This level is supposed to be as close to the real DOOM levels as possible. This level does support different difficulty levels. The main difference's between the skill levels comes at the end of the level. There are 3 different scenarios of Bosses you can fight. ALL of which are managable even in Ultra Violence. If you can't out-smart the Cyber-Demon without codes, then just play an easier skill level.

Great '94 map - unusually competent in visuals for the time.

Gameplay is pretty easy nowadays, but still enjoyable.

Only reason this doesn't get 5 stars, (for a '94 WAD) is that there are a couple unmarked secrets. That's really the only complaint I have. That, and the final fight on UV can be a bit of a slog - make sure you grab the invulnerability sphere in the cyber's room, as the weapons provided in this map aren't really adequate to take out a cyber. I had to wittle him down w/ single-shotgun blasts - not the most fun in the world...

Regardless, great map - anachronistic in the sense that the visuals are so great for '94. :)

Crying shame the author only made 2 maps, and the other one seems lost to time...

Nice classic style with a very classic timestamp :). 4/5 - Belial

All in all, a good 1994 level with above-average detail, and mostly E1 style. Ofc 84 monsters in UV and 2 zombies in each room is hardly a challenge nowadays, but it's good for a quick, relaxed blast. 4/5 -Maes

Lots of deja vu as I went through. I could see which levels he was "inspired" from. making them all gel together was a plus. A well-designed 94 map. Can't beat it. **** ~Consig

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
