About This File

This is what I have been working on for the past few months on and off. I have had other issues I had to attend to. That is why this has been slow in the release process. Basically I don't expect much praise for the levels, though I myself find them to be very unique. I did remake the entire player texture including the body and head. I hope the new textures are to everyone's enjoyment. The player head in the status bar now has red John Lennon glasses on. The player body is now wearing a trenchcoat, jeans, and a cross necklace. The levels themselves are fairly unique aswell. The first level is in a cave system. The second level is in a military compound. The third level is in Hell. The fourth level is a room in which you can view the body textures in game. I really hope all of you enjoy playing this WAD as much as I enjoyed making it. Yes you CAN use the new textures, just please give credit where credit is due. I don't ask for much just mention me either in the text file or somewhere noticible.

Thanks again and enjoy.

They are designed fairly well, but aren't really that interesting. I wouldn't say they are unique.

Well, it works. But it's just four generic levels with nothing to mark them from the ordinary circa 1996. And they seem very old-fashioned. The readme file isn't very impressive, either; I'm not asking for bombast, but if the author himself isn't pleased with the levels why should I be? And how can something be very unique? Something is either unique or it isn't. And since when was a cave level unique? Hey? Hey? [pause] Hey?

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
