I got a nice first look at this, having a few connections, and it was a solid level. I was hurting at the end but then again I never bothered with the soulsphere secret *wink*. 4 stars because it's a good level and Ravage rocks ^_~

This level has an unfortunate name. It puts me in mind of a toilet or an anus. But this is a great, fun map, with lots of action and a good balance of health and ammo. And it doesn't need a source port, as far as I can tell. It would have stunned them back in 1994, although it brings home one of the weaknesses of Doom 1; no double-barrelled shotgun, which means that fighting cacodemons (for example) is a bit slow and tedious. But nonetheless this is excellent stuff.

very nice old-school level. looks good, gameplay is solid. you can get stuck at the end if you only raise the first two stairs (i did), but that's just a minor bug. worth a look to get a good ultimate doom fix. -NT

The design is particularly nice in this level, and it offers a good challenge on UV. The ammo balance was just about perfect - something that is rare to see. Outer Rim is well worth a play!

A pleasant enough map. Nothing spectacular, but all very nicely done design-wise. The gameplay isn't tough at all - the start is a little hectic, but after that the player is fully in control of events.

This is a medium-sized Doom1 map. It's looking very good, with a nice level of detailing, and the way you have to go is winding through a (oldschoolish feeling) building. The challenge isn't too hard, which is my only point of criticism. Doom1 maps tend to be a bit monotonous because of their limited monster repetoire. For example, an Archvile might have been a perfect epiphany here. 4/5 -Milian

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
