Temple of Lust

Absolutely fantastic level, if you only downloag a few DAC maps, make this one of them. Great architecture, perfect challenge, and very fun to play.

This is from November 2005. It's Map21. You get 182 monsters in a fairly small area, and it's very hectic, particularly the outside bits, where you can't stand still. The ammo balance is finely-done, although the rockets make it a lot easier than it should be. For a small map, there's a lot of running to-and-fro, and the end is a let-down (a pain elemental, and that's it). But it's very entertaining as a frantic blast.

Use3d alone makes this wad a must download. Probably one of the best Doom mappers that you've never heard of. Up there with the likes of Erik Alm and so forth.

Great level! Lots of detail, very cool layout, fun gameplay. Only complaint is that there aren't any secrets, but that's a minor gripe. 5/5
