About This File

Fairly simple map set in a cave/cavern themed place. Oh, and it's set inside the 1024 radius area. (heh)

Really challenging especially for someone like me who isn't a Doom God

Not bad 5-minutes indoor level based on panic moments. Layout is crampy around the limit, ambiance is good. Gameplay @ UV looks quite difficult, but good strafing and understanding how to avoid AV damage makes it a lot easier. And after having found the BFG, the end is a piece-of-cake. Sadly the fights are too repetitive, making gameplay predictable and thus a bit boring. Overall: 4*, definitely worth a try, but arguably far from 5* legendary.

Cool level with more and more areas opening gradually and good tough fights. Quite impressive how much stuff he put in a 1024x1024 box.

Outstanding. Nice placement of the first arch-vile. Areas constantly changing, but in a different way than TiC works. vdgg

Excellent level, and not as short as it would seem. Good architecture and fun gameplay make this another great DAC candidate!

This is an excellent level from December 2005. Only 89 baddies in a fairly cramped space but the gameplay is brutal right from the start. It's essentially a series of close-quarters traps in a mine. You have a rocket launcher from which you are in constant danger of blowing yourself up; the ending battle is a bit unfair unless you save your cells, but overall this is great fun. And hard.

Out freaking standing job man! This level overall was so much fun. I really liked how you had all those little bits of wall on the floors and when the walls dropped they were broken. If you could, could you comment on this post and tell me how you did it. Thanks man. 5/5

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
