Very good megawad. Huge maps, high monster count in every map, epic fights and gameplay is excellent - not overly complicated but you must always use automap because there're a lot of switches scattered around all maps and w/o automap you'll have a very hard time progressing. MAP 28 is giant, will certainly take more than 45 min to finish to everyone who plays it in first time, without foreknowledge. Overall, very recommended if you don't mind maps lasting more than 30 min to finish.

This wad needs more coop-fixes and 4 (four) coop starts.

very huge levels, prepare to take at least a day playing this all the way through. very adventurous style of play, ruined by some questionably ugly textures, misalignments, and a lot of backtracking throughout. MAP28 alone takes at least 30 minutes.

Loving the v2 update. I recommend playing with PSX music for great atmosphere. Unfortunately MAP11 still has a small zdoomism with the gun trigger inside the plasma gun secret. Hopefully this will get fixed though.

Very solid set of levels, with a high monster count, large layouts and challenging gameplay. Don't load up in UV unless you flesh out the pain. Try this with Complex Doom for MORE carnage.

Got up to about map 6 before I quit. Ugh, the excessive backtracking and running around to activate triggers that open doors, reveal switches, raise/lower bars, etc. in order to progress kills the flow. It's like if Eternal Doom III was done horribly. Also encountered one level where you can get stuck because the door only opens from one side. Giving this two stars because at least some effort was put into these levels and because I imagine it would be more fun in co-op.

Some peoples' idea of fun seems to be running around empty mazes for hours on end. 90% of doors open by remote switches you have to go look for (zzzz... ) Most of these levels would be all right with twice the monsters and half the switches.

Switch hunts. Lovely. -groans- Doom is supposed to be a slaughter fest, not a treasure hunt. When ya gonna get that?

Very good. So full of surprises. However I got lost many times though, since many of the levels were so large and complex. It also needs custom map names (instead of Entryway, etc). Even though this megawad lacked custom music, I compensated it with a music wad, such as the music wad component for "Aeons of Death" (a ZDoom weapon/monster mod that can be found in the Editing forums at ZDoom.org). 4/5

This wad made me dizzy sometimes. If you ask me it is an "atmospheric wad". Don't know... Sometimes it is dull and boring but most of the time it lives up to it's name - mad corridor. 4/5

I don't like the unaligned textures and the overuse of open space. It feels half-assed, but some maps in it are pretty good. The lack of new music gives it the classic doom feel, which is cool. It's an ok megawad 3/5

Poor detail and alot of areas with monsters in wide open fields. Pretty boring.

As the review says: Some good maps, and some not that good. No changes in music, a few times some new textures, fair stuff at all.

Because of inexistent texture allignment (I am a sucker for proper allignment and good detail). Still nicely design and a bit fun at times. 3.5/5.

I enjoyed the complexity of the stages; however, some of the levels (particularly in the early 20s) may have been a bit too long though. The enemy placement and traps were pretty good, and make this WAD work especially well with the "Overpowered Weapons 2" pack, since it powers up the types of enemies that most of Armadosia's ambushes and snipers are made up of. A challenging WAD!

Oh well. Nice stuff, but sometimes too crampy for my taste, lottsa ammo eaters on first levels, and lottsa bugs keeping me from correctly finishing a level. Still there are also lots of good parts. I'd also vote for a 3.5/5.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
