Scary! Extreme details (sometimes slow)!!! What a great piece of work. Sometimes hard, but still 15/5 - Optimus

Thematically beautiful, feels very much like some kind of gothic-hell introspection. If a death-metal anthem was converted straight into a wad it would probably look something like this. The gameplay was the toughest I've played on legacy (aaahhh legacy!) and did kill my framerate in parts. It was a short wad but still felt like a fucking epic. =p Unquestionably a candidate for this years top wads. ****

Lots of ripped bells and whistles to take away the attention from the awful awful game play. 1/5

Incredible detail, amazingly original settings/achitecture , excellent music, and pretty solid gameplay. This was such a treat for the eyes and ears, and the quests were so much fun! It was nice to go find something other than red, yellow, and blue keys. If there was one thing wrong, I'd say it gets a bit confusing at times; I got really stuck on some parts...but maybe that's just me. All in all, an epic Doom WAD!

For as good as the levels look, the gameplay is outright atrocious. Some of the worst platforming and puzzle segments I've ever encountered in a WAD. I'm glad to have my 35132 KB of HDD space back after beating this. 1/5

I thought it was good. Clearly, though, it's not for everyone. I can clearly see that whoever posted above me hates running past hordes of monsters and mega intense gameplay at times. Personally it's not exactly what I expect in a Doom wad, but I enjoyed it and it's a nice diversion and rather unique. A classic, but clearly won't appeal to everyone. For me, though, 4.5(5)/5, one half off as the gameplay isn't exactly my style but I enjoyed it anyway.

a very different kind of game play, you are given three pathways at the beginning, i chose "war" and i ended up walking around solving strange puzzles in some trippy castle, i don't know what lied beyond the other two ways 4/5 for the creativity but i prefer maps with more action

Kicks ass. Or it would if I could get the whole thing to work in GZDoom, usually end-of level glitches. Still 5/5 for awesome gameplay and badass music. -kc32

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
