About This File

It is revamped version of my old never released map for Doom1. The main purpose: Playable in both SP and DM. I haven't got any testers so I tried it with bots. That means that, I haven't got a single idea if it is bad or worse. I used music from Fear Factory - Edge Crusher

Very good. A fun romp that takes about 15-20 min.

Layout of this map is kind of strange, but it plays well.

In the words of Laurie Anderson, "I no longer love the color of your sweater". Not relevant in this case but I just like those words. I like this map, too. It's not too long, and it's well-detailed and good fun (only the chaingunner and the hell knight really scream Doom II). Not very hard but it looks nice and I enjoyed it.

Not a bad map. Some of the detail was nice, and it was good that you had some wide open spaces, though some areas seemed a little bare, but it wasn't anything serious. The music was a bit obnoxious and loud at times, which is something I would have changed. I would say 3.5/5, but since I can't, I'll give it a 4. =D -Tango

The start can be a bit slow if you don't know where the weapons are, but it still plays very well. Looks nice too. 4/5 - Belial

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
