About This File

A map I was planning to use in an 'expansion' for bloodrust that never really got anywhere, so instead I'm releasing it on it's own, as the first in a 'series' of single maps, that I may or may not release more maps for :P. Basically it's some kind of demon-overrun town (at least part of one). Also has a bunch of new textures and a new midi by me.

Very good map based on several streets of a block (or village) and few buildings. Not so many enemies and for the most part they can be easily killed from away. An experienced doomer would probably ask for more challenge on UV, but nevertheless it's pleasant to play. Also there's a small bug with the blue door - one can easily press the switch without the required key.

In this map, you're going through a small village by night, which turns out to be filled with infernal habitants. It's an action packed map, quite hard in places, but nontheless very fair and beatable. Plus, it's looking really good and has a nice gloomy atmosphere. You should play this! 4.5/5 -Milian

Atmospheric and well-designed level that doesn't remind me of any other wads, in other words it feels very fresh. The combat isn't too difficult and perhaps too SSG-centered, but still satisfying and dynamic. The new midi is a bit repetitive but it sets the mood well. Awesome work.

Pretty good, but there were way too many semi-hidden alcoves with chaingunners or sergeants in them. If you don't kill them ASAP the map is way too hard. Also not enough health. But really nice design and theme, good detail. 4/5

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
