About This File

Map 01 - Compound: You are working as an engineer for a major company. Suddenly the base goes silent. You pull out your handy pistol and attempt to blast your way out of the compound.

Map 02 - Haunted Mines: As you are leaving the compound via water tunnel you recieve a faint transmission from a mining company that is near the exit of the water tunnel. They found a demon artifact while digging. The artifact flooded the mines with poison. All of the workers down in the mines died and their souls were sucked into the artifact. Moving the artifact may trigger it to unleash it's captured souls.

Map 03 - Helliseum: The artifact the miners found may have a direct relation to the hell that Earth has been facing. You fall into a pit that is a direct entrance to Hell. More specifically the arena in Hell. Yes, there is an arena in Hell. And now your only hope to escape is to fight for Satan's entertainment.

Map 04 - Slathe: You find out who is behind the invasion on Earth. Not the artifact. Not Satan (Even though he is very impressed.) No, none of them. The invasion on Earth was caused by me. Yes, that's right me. I was bored and I had absolutely nothing better to do than to reach my arm into the sky and punch the face of God.

These would've qualified as semi-competent only if they were your first maps. Since they aren't, their crappyness is not excusable. 1/5 - Belial

The first level is cramped and irritating; the second level is just irritating; the third I skipped through; the fourth has you fighting a man who is wearing a black dressing gown.

Unplayable because of too many monsters with not enough ammo in too small rooms. The author should learn about skill settings and try again. (I've only tried to play map 01 several times, but it was only frustrating. Maybe the other maps are better, but who cares?) 0.5/5 -Milian

I disagree with Milan. There's more ammo then needed in the first level. It's cramped and sometimes ammo is behind the monsters, I like that. Didn't find the rl/plasmagun on the fourth level, so for me it isn't playable from pistol start. I agree with Optimus, a bit fun in it's own. Worth checking out. 3/5 coldfusio.

Frustrating. Fighting big monsters with little guns and low ammo early in the first level on the easiest skill ain't NO FUCKIN FUN. 2/5

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?
