About This File

a "refresher" level to help me get back into the swing of things for doom levels. Figured i'd start small, and work my way up. Enjoy it for the 1 minute you'll be playing it!

1 point for compensation since it's your new attempt to start again. Lol! Seriously, there was no need to release this level, but I am not the one to judge here ;) - Optimus

Well...it works. I can't really make many critiques considering there is really no gameplay. Just a rocket launcher and two monsters. I agree with whoever wrote You should have not released this level. Keep the test levels for your own benefit.

This level has one of the least appealing names of all time, ranking up there with "cave" and "sewer" and so forth. It's a crock of shit, less complex than origwad.wad. It's a small l-shaped room with an imp, a zombieman, a rocket launcher, and some rockets. As a means of learning how to create levels it's counterproductive; there's no exit, for a start.

OOOOOOkkkkkkkkaaaaay yyy??????!!!!!!! Once I made a test level back in 1997 that was Map01 of Doom2 with most of it's walls missing, and slimetrains everywhere. I guess I'd release it if I didn't lose it 9 years ago. 0/5 for this wad.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
