Nice detail, but gameplay sucks! The little notches here and there really get in the way, and no exit is an instant -1 star. Try harder next time.

Very nice, but it really should end somehow - even if it's just a sudden "congrats, you've done it" end screen after you kill the last monster.

It's very atmospheric, and the best "real world" apartment I have ever seen. The fighting in darkened, ruined rooms is genuinely spooky. The kid's aeroplane and train track was very clever. The gameplay is done in bursts; it's a nice touch having a random set of monsters warping in each time. Against it, it's not very long (it would require a supercomputer if it was much bigger), although it's very intense.

Has a nice design, but gameplay and difficulty is poor, and ¿no final?. Only 3/5 for a good idea, sorry

The map design is stellar. The gameplay works for the first part, but that courtyard scene is slightly irritating since you can't walk over the tables. There are a couple of untextured linedefs, most notably one in the courtyard. And the fact that this level is unfinished gets a big NO from me.

Yeah, I really liked this. A dark, gloomy level where the monsters suddenly teleport in. Good lighting effects and nice usage of wood textures as well (Especially ZZWOLF5). Unfortunatly there is no exit or secrets in the level. 4/5 -PC

Although highly detailed, the wad is lacking A LOT when it comes to gameplay. There are hundreds of bugs to exploit, and because you didn't use the damn thing_count system, the enemies will swarm you if you don't kill them in a certain amount of time. One of the biggest and dumbest bugs was that you could grab the plasma gun BEFORE the barrier around it disappeared. Pay a little more attention to gameplay -Craigs.

I liked the atmosphere and detailing in this map very much, but the bad gameplay, lack of exit and especially the failure to mention it in the textfile drop the rating to 3 stars. This level might have been better without any monsters...

Aside from a few bugs mentioned in an above review I had alot of fun with this wad. Very atmospheric and filled with details. The concept of walking into a room, picking up a key, triggering spawning monsters reminds me alot of the Painkiller formula. 4/5

Maybe the best apartment map. Quite scary shadows, though I couldn't find the exit at the end :P 4/5 - Optimus

This should have been dreadful. There was a rash of early levels in 1994/1995 that were based on the author's house or place of work. They all suffered from Doom Bathroom Syndrome and were no fun to play. This is much the same but it's done with such commitment and attention to detail that it works; it's atmospheric and spooky, and the environments are open enough for the fights to flow.

One of the classic megawads, and the successor to TNT Evilution. I've played this several times over the years, and its grown on me more with each play as my tastes mature.   Still has a bunch of maps that got me killed in 2024, after ive finished stuff like HR and AV, and plenty of maps are memorable. Only real downsides is some of the levels have little content, showing its age.

One of the earliest Doom user maps and It shows. Despite the raw and empty design, the author take a good use of 3D space creating a small fortress surrounded by mountains, the level Is fun to play and not hard. A fancy escapade and a piece of modding history.

Third and final released map of a WIP episode by David Rager, it's more long, complex and hard than the previous entries in the series. A well made map with pretty challenging parts with a mix of monster usage, envoirnmental hazards and some puzzle gameplay. Fun but pretty harsh.

Two more misplaced DM maps without a exit like QUDOOM (that at least had a exit room, while not functional) that caught me by their file name and leave me for the bad experience in SP. Chicken is just a long bridge between a thundering abyss where cyberdemons wants to destroy you, meh. Gangstar is a more fun map sets in a big, abstract warehouse where a cyberdemon roam free trying to kill you, shotgunners and lost souls are here in this Hell corner adding more pain to the thing, enforced by semi-hidden mazes, my favorite.

This is like the physical version of the "we have X at home" meme in DM map format for Quake E1M1. Very poorly made, broken exit and missing textures here and there but at least the level KINDA resembles the original source somehow.
