About This File

A dark tech themed map. Fairly hard unless you know what you're doing too :P Also (like sjs1) includes new music and textures, by me.

Great level! Challenging and fun. Well designed full of details. One archville, and a lot of revenants (on HMP difficulty). I hate them.

I really had fun with this wad. The music was okay, a little too repetitive. The level design was outstanding! I am not a Doom master by any means but this level provided a healthy challenge for me.

Kind of uneven difficulty: Tricky start, but gets easy after that. Very nice end fight, anyway.

wotw for me. A nasty blastfest in a nice industrial base area, music fits. 4/5 worth definitely. Difficulty is indeed varying thoughout the level.

Hell yea, very superb map. The beginning left me short on ammo but later, an abundance of it. Would be nice to have the backpack earlier. The only part that pissed me off was the pillar that rises so you can collect the yellow key card. That part is too confusing because the pillar is behind the larger one that holds the key card. I hope someone reads this before they play it so they know what to do. Other than that, beautiful map. One of the best maps made. 8/26/07

This is great fun, with a perfect balance of baddies and ammo, polished off with an elegant industrial design. It's broken up into a series of little mini-levels and it plays wonderfully. My only caveat is that it's a little *too* short of ammo near the beginning; if you polish off the baron of hell in the opening plaza you're stuffed. I would put the berzerk pack nearer the start, because then you've always got a decent back-up weapon. But five stars.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
