Jesus on a monkey bike! This is just insane on UV -fast! I even tried on Hey, not too rough and it's still fairly tricky. A lot of luck and balls of molybdenum required. 4/5 -jb

A welcome return to the Doom community for Richard Wiles, one of the co-authors of the legendary Darkening Episode 2, and creator of the amazing Crusades. The fact this is only part 1 in a series is very good news indeed!

unforgivable in difficulty on uv, but enjoyable on hmp. Well done!

Pretty good. I loved the design. It wasn't as hard on HMP. I wasn't fully pleased with Barons at the end though. 4/5 - Damned

Great map. It was rather challenging, but I was able to beat it on the first try. A Lost Soul came out of nowhere and made me jump, though. Awesome work. This map flowed well.

But I think Ty Halderman has been inactive, so I doubt these uploaded levels will get released for some time. Again 3 stars for this good, but very tough level. -PC

It kicks ass! Ridiculously hard, total lack of items, but an abundance of ammo, with plenty of monsters to kill. I'd give it five stars, but since it's a single level starting at MAP19, I give only four. Always remember MAPINFO if you want a specific sky or music.

I kind of like it. Some good mapping and enemy placement though I hated the excessive use of chaingunners and the Barons at the end. 4/5

This small level looks very good. But the gameplay is very poor. There needs to be more health in this level, plenty of ammo from the chaingunners and shotgunners. Also this level only has a player 1 start, and does not have the other player starts or DM starts and would play superb in Coop. I can beat Verada.wad on UV, but this takes Verada to another level. I'm been serious here and unfortunatly I'm giving it just 3 Stars. -PC

This is an excellent map - it's short, simple, but very well constructed. It reminds me of the Ramones. It's not as hard as reputation suggests, although you have to be careful with the ammo. Once past the opening courtyard it actually becomes easier, especially if you get the secret 100% health, and although I was expecting a "final battle" there wasn't one. I wasn't impressed with the chaingunner alcoves; that's been done before, lots. Japanese robotic sex chair.

Good map that requires some strategy to survive the first fight. 4*

This is Richard Wiles man, the guy who designed Crusades and Slayer, some of the best wads of all time. And this wad pulls it off exactly as I see his come back to the community. Also, I am sick to death of seing fucking noobs rating this low because it starts at map 19. So what? Does that fact rape your mother? Get a gripe on your own opinion. I don't diss Death for his reviews or pinpointing this thing, but idiots who follow BLINDLY with eyes in ass the reviewers. Fuck you.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
