I haven't played Simplicity yet. If it is like this, maybe I will pass it. It looks great and everybody knows, that Torm really knows how to use all the Doom designer's stuff. But there is terrible lack of creativity. It drag the quality of map down, even the gameplay is ok. 3/5 - Damned

lol, "all empty inside"? The gameplay is awesome in this map, sure nothing fancy, but still effective. And the detail is beautiful. If maps of this quality were put into a megawad I think zero-brains reviewer would change his mind. Keep em coming Tormentor!

It was a nice map. Felt more like Sapphire than Simplicity though, althought the gamplay was better than in Sapphire. I agree with those people here that said that it would fit better into a multi-map episode, but nobody knows what may come up in the future ;)! **** -Vader

This level is good, but Sapphire is better.

Way too alike to sapphire. Some things kept me playing but it didn't take long before this was off my harddrive. 3/5 - Cutman

Sorry Torm. You've just not got the "thing" you once had. Sapphirre, this. They're both just a load of boring corridors that all look alike. Whatever happened to the man who made City of the Damned and the T&T series, eh?

Tormentor got the Simplicity look right. Nice battles and gameplay is improved this time by far over sapphire. Those revenants at the end I was no expecting them at all. 4/5

This is good fun, although it's surprisingly mellow for a modern-day level; there's a lot of health and the monster traps don't become tricky until right near the end. The design is simple and there's a gorgeous skybox if you run it in GZDoom. The level uses the cool blue palette that is all the rage. On the down side, it all feels a bit inconsequential, as if it was level three of a much larger megawad.

Balanced although unexceptional gameplay and perhaps a bit too large file size for a single map featuring mostly recolored textures and sprites, although I digged the new pastel colors, and the OMF2097 music. This could have been a nice DOOM 2 or TNT first level. 4/5 -Maes

Wow, rather than making a pretty and shitty map you manage to make an ugly and shitty map.

This just didn't do it for me like sapphire did. I think that's a way superior map. This isn't bad (better than most peoples' best), but for this designer it's a meh.

Rather than a cool place it looks like the typical over detailed Zdoom map. 1: detail isn't needed to make a map nice. 2: you can add lots of detail and make the map nice (like Skulltag's new maps). The author has high mapping skills, but not imagination, the result looks like a map designed by a "super slige" like program.

This map it feels like a fashion manequinn. Simulating pretiness, and all empty inside. There's enough repetivity in architecture to put Halo's boring interiors to shame. The gameplay is stuffed with repetive monsters teleporting around and same shit once you pickup keycards. Rooms sport typical "look, I'm detailed" purpose and aboslutely no other ideas. Typical for Tormentor667. This is a downright boring piece of crap of a map and I'll go ahead giving it a ZERO!

Creative, fun, entertaining and challenging levels, very cleverly hidden secrets, some butt-kicking ambushes and traps. Ammo balance is pretty tight in some maps with pistol start, but everything is possible. A must-play WAD.

A very neat 1996 map that i kinda remember to have played already long ago, or at least something with a similar start, a really good interconnected layout (even if i was roaming around asking where to go, especially after taking the blue key and trying to leave the caves section), good texturing, hard monster placement (the easiest monsters are the shotgunners), really generous with health placement and some strategic megaspheres here and there, too bad it is too stingy with ammo, leaving me battling chaingunners with only a chainsaw sometimes... but overall, very good!

IT JUST WORKS! Ok, with that stupid jojoke out of the way, we can start talking about this map:   It's a nice map from 1995 with some interesting room shapes (especially the one beyond the blue skull key door), the difficult and map flow is pretty easy and straightforward to navigate, don't fell discouraged by the large amount of enemies (it contains 120 monsters in total)! They're just cannon fodder for the majority of the map, expect for the final part with a arch-vile / cyberdemon combo near the exit, overall it could be easily beaten in 10 minutes or even less if you are a talented player... Enjoyable.

Pretty 90s-ish, basic looking map sets into a tech / hell fortress of sorts, really large map that i've finished in 30 minutes, but luckily the map uses not really hard monsters to confront, making this pretty easy to finish, but again, is a long, LONG map with the most tedious parts are the mazes and that long backtracking stairs... Pretty meh   Also this map crashes on Doom 2 exe (DosBox) when you save the game, so i played it with a limit-removing dos port (doom 2 plus) without any trouble, so if you want to play this you had to use a limit removing port.

Nice mini episode, reminds me of some sort of amateurish Plutonia Experiment sometimes. Pretty enjoyable!
