Alandoguns.WAD

Very nice mod!  Nice weapons and monsters, nice details adding blood and gore graphics, also adding TERRAIN lumps for liquid splashes and additional animation frames for liquids.  Pretty challenging, tho sometimes feels a bit unbalanced with some very dangerous monsters. The only down I see it's the automatic reload, I wish I could reload guns manually any time and not to wait till the magazine it's empty.

By the way, nice use of resources, true they're from other different games, but many other mods I've tried do the same, even using stuff from Realm667, like the very mentioned BD :-)

I think its great....Its more of a challenge (Easier to get killed) but it just makes me get better and better everyday. I like the assualt rifle.....and the Shredder Shotty nice!!!! -Big Steve

Dunno what's the problem with the first reviewer, that's an OK weapon set with plenty of new weapons (ok some are blatant ripoffs but who cares) and many new enemies and death frames. 4/5

It's a fucking doom weapon mod. Not a god damn work of art. look it as such before you all start talking out of your asses.

It would be useful if the author would state exactly what he made and what he didn't make (and who did make that stuff, and on what basis it is being included).

Who cares if the weapons are stolen, they got the credit, ( I wish Alandoguns X would play on Skulltag) but I think the way he had put it together is why it is so special. Think about it, something different. 4/5 :}

It's like a Daniel weapon mod, except this thing could fuck up a crappy computer. Pretty boring and has tons of ripped sprites just like a Daniel weapon mod. LOL Big Freekin Memory!

agreed with first reviewer. this mod is ruined by the CS weapon rips.no manual reload.i hate the backwards ammo counter.

next to the zero tolerance weapons mod (2008) I have to say this is a christly 2007 weapons mod 5/5 - Super Fuck (aka Admiral Xolzo)

Meh. Not as cool as Zero Tolerance mod.

The only thing this is good for is making 1monster relatively fun to play. I used to make weapons mods like this where I made as many weapons as possible as more of a learning experience than an actual project, which is why I never released them. 3/5

This wad has could be better with some better codeing and maby reduce the fireing rate of the weapons. You can shoot a whole clip within 3 seconds! But otherwise its a good weapons wad with cool new enemies and cool new effects I like what the auther did with the pickup graphics. Its a good wad just needs some work.

This prove that you need more than effort to make a nice wad. Just a collection of ripped stuff and unplayable decorate codes designed only to showcase the skills of the author. If the codes where adjusted properly, the ripped stuff replaced with new and good one, and if there were new maps designed for it, it could probably be a great wad. Oh and why you skrewed up the DOOM 2.5 chaingun? -Vegeta
