About This File

OMG, not a jokewad! Yeah, it's just a normal 1024 map set in a tower in the middle of an urban environment.

It's the worst 1024 map that I've ever seen.

It's okay, certainly nothing flashy, with a blue keycard that I didn't understand how to get. There's not much potential, really, in these miniaturized maps.

Wills is better at making jokewads. I'm not a big fan of 1024 maps, so I'll give it 3/5. -Moti

I like these 1k maps although this one is pretty average - I've seen a lot worse... anyway. BTW: A simple run and jump gets you the blue key. 3/5 -jb

This is a decent 1024x1024 map with a fairly uniform texture scheme and a couple of Zdoom features. As far as I can tell you have to jump to get the blue key. The map successfully gives the impression that it's slightly larger than a 1024x1024 area, and the cramped final battle is a nice touch. As a whole the level is almost the dictionary definition of average; it entertains and does not offend me but no more.

"1024 shit. Congrats. -1024/5" How come you said you gave this -1024 stars when the lowest is only 0 stars? Also, nice concept and map. 4/5

Don't be put off the original Dwarf City by this. "Average" sums it up rather generously, but I'll give it an extra star above what it deserves simply for not being (intended as) a jokewad. BTW, if jumping is meant to be used, then you don't need any keys at all, and can jump straight to the exit (assuming "actors are infinitely tall" is meant to be turned off). Could be done pacifist that way, but it's hardly worth it.

A short, but good level. It had *just* enough ammo to get through it, which is something I like to see in a WAD (those with an overabundance of ammo, on the other hand, just aren't challenging enough, and don't force the player to use all of their weapons). Nice work!

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
