this wad is really nice... how ever, as many people said, the glacier level is indeed annoying and some maps are INSANELY hard to beat.. even map 1 with the cyberdemon in that small map. however, the author has put in ALOT of effort into this, including brand-new monsters and mechanics. it is very hard to make a good invasion wad, but this one was most definitely memorable

A very nice set of maps overall, though most of them I get owned royally before I can make it to the end. Oh well, I guess that's what 'summonfriend baronlord' commands are for. Yeah, it helps to have a few of those, the ones that fire 5-way evil red baron thingys of death. Not to mention insane HP, they can easily mow down legions of hellspawn. 4 stars.

I liked every single map in it, really. Although the map "Base" has a few HOMS in the grenade launcher platform. I also liked wario's maps personally, cuz they used new monsters mostly. Each of you did an excellent job, especially with the super hard maps (3,5,7, 10 and 11). Well done guys. 5/5 -Moti

This has major gameplay failures. 1. Map 1 has an easy reachable BFG. The 9k is more pwerful than the 10k, but only the 10k has a kill timer? 2. The glacier map is annoying. I keep running into other people, AND the guardsphere make the map too bright to play on. 3. The time freeze in map 10 is too easy to reach. 4. Map 6 and Map 9 have the same problem. Rushed with too much too early. 5. Not enough change between waves. 1/5 (I gave you a 1 because I was feeling generous. )

I really did not like these. The maps had very uninteresting designs (mostly squares and rectangles) and were quite ugly or bland. Invasion gameplay has seemed all the same to me, so on that side it was okay, but invasion in general seems to bore me. I also feel that invasion maps should just feel like sections of a regular map, and that more exists than what you actually get to see and play in, but these maps did not give me that feeling.

Possibly the best invasion mapset ever(along with Delta). my favorite map Seriously Unrealistic Quake is the best of the bunch. Hell the music in that map gives it an awesome epic feeling. Philnemba - 5/5

      These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

      A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

      Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

      It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
