It's a wave based square map with four tall square structures and a taller square structure on each with bridges connecting them all and ramps going up to the top of each structure. Here's the catch, you don't gain access to the ramps until a few waves in. At first the waves are quite dull, full of scan hit enemies like shotgunners and typical zombiemen. Then it evolves into waves with pinkies, before later on it has revenants and mancubi. The waves build until the happy Mario sky turns into orange and has a spider mastermind gunning for you from the top of one of the structures.

For a map, it's dull and takes a bit too long to amp up the enemies. It does get better, but I can't say it's fun being stuck in the channels between the four structures forced to wait for each sniper to line up along the cliff to shoot at you. On the plus side you won't get lost, but you won't be dazzled by the map either. It makes use of Skulltag's weapons and a few blood pinkies toward the end. Most of the stuff could have been done with other source ports.

I was suckered in by the Mario name and there's a Mario song midi here, and colorful walls, but that's the only Mario content. Someone needs to add proper textures to make it feel more like Mario.

Decent Block Fort remake that requires Skulltag_content. Nothing too remarkable, but not bad. Seems a little too tall as well..

I can't even tell which Mario Kart map this is. Plus this map's extremely ugly.

This is a very ugly level. I think you should have based an invasion map on a Super Mario 64 level instead. Make Princess Peach's Castle or that Airship instead!

Heh, this Invasion map gets points for using one of the greatest Mario Kart DM maps ever, and doing it decently at that. Though 16 waves of badguys gets boring after a while. 3 stars + 1 for MK tribute.

I thought this map was very interesting as the skys go. If it gets harder to wave 8 then the sky changes and changes again one more time. The gameplay gets boring when you advance to higher waves plus it gets really hard on wave 12 because the ground is turned into lava and you have to move on the buildings. The map's not bad and I hope to see more of these in the near future. 3/5 Doomguy 2000

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
