About This File

A nice little level. The use of textures gives it a consistent theme.

If you like running in circles against a demons horde, been blinded by shitty light usage and enjoy tutti-frutti effect on almost every walls present (really, i think i'll going to dream these texture schemes tonight), this is the map for you. Seeing this map must be a alpha version of another wad quoted in one of the older reviews, kinda throw me away the "Bill Gates anonymously testing the backrooms for Doom" joke, but eh, take it the same. 1 star, even with the decent outdoor area after the red key door.

Of course this is a map that caught by the filename... who call a map Windows 7?

funny, this seems to be a real early version of E1M3 of aloha911.wad - id=1063 here. this prototype makes the final look a masterpiece. consistent theme my ass. 1/5

Seems pretty bad even for 1994 with the extra bugs. P.S. what's with the reupolading of these 94 wads? Why would we want to replay this shit?

A primitive medium-sized map from July '94. Bad texturing, no theme or secrets, a little over 100 randomly placed Imps and Demons with a few Cacos and a Baron. Heavy infighting needed to kill all the monsters you will see - the ammo is tight. About a dozen Demons are running around the level in the void, outside the playing space. There are several large empty rooms not connected to the playing area in any way, one of these houses a lonely Cyber you'll never meet except using noclip. Junk. - N_A

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
