About This File

This level is a nice one for multi-player cooperative monster bashing. It is not suited for deathmatch players. They will be dead allmost immediately.

The layout of the area is quit simple. But the monster bashing is fun. Four supermonsters (one in single-user play). Hordes of imps, sargeants, and troopers. Allmost no bonusses, but lots and lots of weapons and ammo. Some small traps.

This is the first DOOM-level I designed.

It sucks, but is a quick blast fest that makes use of all weapons. Has a very good time to crate rating otherwise. 1/5 -z34chris

This is from May 1994. It's poor. The level is just a series of undetailed square rooms, with lots of trees dotted around (which makes navigation a pain). There are 100-odd monsters, mostly weak ones, with a spider. The map is basically a simple zig-zag maze; it only takes about forty seconds to run to the exit. It has no real gameplay, and it's not interesting as a historical artefact.

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.

Conceptually not bad, it's a pretty imposing tower with some decent lighting, but no ammo at all despite having the guns and a VERY obscure way to rise up the floor in the lava pit? That's a big downer. But overall, it's ok.

Well, the map is pretty basic. The map is quite challenging, with there being 0 ammo pickups (excluding the backpack) outside of the starting room. There are also nazis for some reason. I will give it 2 stars only because this really wasn't meant to be played to be enjoyed, but rather just a example of how to build a map in DEU.
