After I'd played this map, I was surprised to see that it's a work from today instead of 10 years ago. It looks like a mapper's first map, where the beginning is well detailed but the verve was damped during the mapping process. The final parts of the map are rather large and simply layed out. Gameplay is ok, but nothing too special, maybe a bit too straigt forward. There are no real traps nor does the game afford strategy or thinking. Just make your way and shoot. 2.5/5 -Milian

Detail is a 3/5 stars for a zdoom map, though some areas feel a little to open. Layout is 2/5 stars, it is boring! But it is gameplay that really takes a wad that could have bin ok and shatters it. The fights are boring, there is not anywere near enough ammo to great the monsters with, and there should have bin many more health packs then they were. 1/5 stars for the gameplay. So the average total score should be: 2/5 stars. Yea lets stick with that!

The above person must have missed some ammo and he didn't find the secret with the plasma gun. The fights are still boring though. The music and the first looks made me think this was an attempt to make a kitsch map. Boredom is no sin, prepare for heaven I would call this. 3 stars coldfusio.

There are some things I enjoyed in this map like the theme and few of it's rooms, if only it wasn't for some textures misalignments, bland designs and few other bugs out there. And then I was positively surprised to find out a similar concept of a broken bridge like it's done (although more gigantic) in my Budrum26 map (Wow! Did I inspired some?). 3/5 - Optimus

The first review is hilarious. This was an easy level that only offered limited enjoyment. It's alright. There is more than enough health and ammo. 2/5

"The hell"? "Killator"?

Odd beginning - there's a stuck monster right behind you - and the design is eccentric in a bad way. It feels like a level that was made in 1996, and held back for eleven years. The gameplay isn't bad, but after a decent hectic beginning it becomes empty and sparse, and there aren't many monsters. Easy as cake, because you can just run past most of the baddies (and you get a BFG for the "boss").

In map you have to kill The Devil that lives in The Hell. You must get the powerup to win the game, else all your base are belong to us.

Good maps, most of them ended up in Skulltag later on (as in, 2004-2005 lol). A solid wad that frankly deserves more play time, even in the year 2021.

this really deserves much more attention than it gets! it definitely has its fair share of negatives like cryptic progression, symmetry, etc, but for the time it's actually very good. the visuals are very nice with interesting architecture and good lighting, and despite not being balanced for pistol start very well the combat is great fun nonetheless.

it's like if the casali brothers got their hands on skillsaw's kamikaze soldiers   srsly tho, for 1995 this wad is pretty vicious. the moeller brothers love to throw some real nasty shit at you on the regular, but despite that it still remains very fun (albeit somewhat frustrating at times). the levels all look decent for 1995, and the spritework for the new enemies and textures is quite good as well. aside from a few specific things (the beginning of map06 for example) there's not really any genuinely bad things about the megawad. if you're a fan of older stuff then i highly recommend this mapset - it's not as refined as later stuff the moellers worked on like memento mori, but it's still great fun.

a very fun mapset that, unfortunately, is plagued by a few bugs. it's mostly fine if you get the fix, but if you're unaware of it then it's gonna prevent you from progressing   it's a shame, because this really is a great mapset. it starts off somewhat standard but quickly becomes quite reminiscent of av's later levels. i highly recommend it if you're into that
