About This File

This is a remix project I finished recently. Fifty-seven MIDI tracks of remixed/enhanced Doom music, for use in-game.

This version is considered the final version, and includes the Final Doom soundtrack.

This is a very good remix set but the only major flaws this has is all songs are 100% volume and have no left/right panning in them like the original MIDIs did.

These would be good as Boss music for doom maps.

Very boring overall, the author completely ignored the vast variety of Doom music's styles and just slapped rock\metal guitars everywhere. Some of the remixes are interesting in their own right though.

Good remixes but a bit rock heavy. E1M9 remix the pick of the bunch. 4 stars

Some of these remixes are great, but a lot of them sound like every note is being hit with full velocity and it's just a mess. :\

Really nice remixes, actually sounds really nice with opl emulation, which doesn't apply to the original tracks in my opinion. just wanna mention that the author of this wad released a new version which also includes remixes of doom2 and final doom. don't know why he didn't upped it on idgames but you can grab it here: http://zoraspace.net /doom.html

These remixes are some of the best entire album remixes of doom music to be used in level making. 5/5

Strong rock and roll theme? Man, you don't know what you're talking about. Check e1m7 out for the best of the bunch.

I have always wanted MIDI remixes of Doom's music, not just mp3 ones with shitty players and instruments or IT modules or MOD music with shitty sound samples rife with pops and hisses. It's like if Bobby Prince allowed his music to be put on VGmusic.com. Then again, if he's letting this happen, why not that?

Good but the Music for Map 08 of TNT Evilution sounds cheesy.

I really like this but I can agree on certain levels that the ambientish instruments should have remained for the rerecording. -Mr. Chris

These are very good remixes. But some of the tracks sound kind of odd. There is a strong rock and roll theme. 4/5 stars.

Not bad for a any set of DM levels that hasn't changed the music, and to selectively place in action packed custom SP/Coop levels with a non-gloomy theme. The main drawback that can be a bit dissatisfying is that they kill DOOM's gloomy and weird moods, especially in the tracks that had an ambient style (e.g., E1M5, E1M7, E2M4, Map30), or the softer metal based ones (e.g., E1M2, E2M2, Map05). Also some of these tracks are missing: D_BUNNY = D_DEAD, D_VICTOR = D_EVIL and D_E2M9(E3M1) = D_ULTIMA - Impboy

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
