This wad completely replaces episode 3 of The Ultimate Doom. To run, use the .bat file, then click on episode 3: Inferno.
You start off in a mining facility, where things have gone horribly wrong. As you progress through the levels, you come to the mine itself, a gigantic chasm where tunnels lead to the source of the horror: a gateway to hell, accidentally uncovered by the UAC miners. It?s up to you to stop the evil, or die trying.
I created this WAD several years ago as a birthday present for my dear old dad, who had a very hard time with it: it?s rough, especially after the first level (the first level is an intro, and isn?t too hard). Especially on the Ultraviolence level, ammunition is at a premium, and you?ll need to conserve. The secret level is for fun, but I won?t ruin it by giving a spoiler.
Music has been taken from the original game, but the songs have been reordered to create a darker mood (none of the pseudo heavy metal tracks are here? just the creepier atmospheric ones).
Enjoy, and let me know what you think at email@example.com, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
