Of the Community Chest packs, I find myself coming back to this one the least. My major issue is the difficulty curve. It's all over the place and as a result, it's sometimes a slog. Especially egregious is the placement of MAP05, who's the lunatic that signed off on THAT being the fifth map? The entire WAD up until that map, you've fought one archvile if you're on UV. You fight TEN in that level. You haven't fought any Masterminds or Cyberdemons. You fight two MMs at once, in lava that also slows you down for some reason despite looking no different than regular lava, immediately before fighting a horde of nobles and a Cyberdemon. That would be fine as a later map, somewhere in the 20s, but the fifth? I think this whole WAD would be way better with just a reshuffling of the map order to have it ramp steadily up instead of swinging wild like it does, and maybe that's why I don't come back to this one often, because there are some really good, fun maps in it, but you have to dig through some bullshit to get to them the way things are.

As others have pointed out, MAP 10 is indeed the worst of the megawad. But all the other maps are enjoyable, gameplay is awesome and fair, and the best maps are = 12, 20, 24, 26, 28 and 29. Speaking of MAP 29, it's huge and I took almost 1 hour and half to MAX it. This is the best CC in my opinion (haven't played CC 4 yet).

Tons of confusing maps. This is easily the worst of the CC wads. 4 and 2 are good, haven't played 1.

^ Mixed bag? Hell no. Nearly every map is good fun. Hell, as much as I love CC4, I would say this displayed a lot more creativity overall. The best Community Chest in my books.

Truly the greatest Coop/SP mapset ever. Very challenging, yet fun at the same time. The voodoo doll at the start shows how awesome the mappers are. The first Cyber fight was very tense. 5/5

Wow! Too large for me to play from start to finish in a few sittings - however, i really enjoyed playing these levels one at a time from scratch over a long period of time. Extra comment - Map 29 was intense as anything - so much so that it almost became monotonous - and throws in a humourous touch at the exit (as if you hadn't had enough already!) 4 stars - not perfect, definately awesome.

Most levels pretty good. Map 07 appears broken in Risen3D v2.2.16. After defeating Mancubi and Arachnotrons in the courtyard, the exit doesn't open as it should.

I couldn't enjoy this wad. I feel those scythe or deus vult series are much better. and I was really disappointed when I found the missing textures. C'mon !! It's released in 2007 , right? You guys could have done better. Boring. 2/5

Yet another excellent map set from the community that is of even higher standards than the last one. I enjoyed every map, and there was never a dull moment for me. A full 5/5 from me. -TRRobin.

Some levels are really HUUUUGEEE! For example maps 12, 20, 25, 29 etc. It takes at least 30 minutes to beat them. When I find computer map and see the whole automap, the size of it is really creepy :) Finishing map was pretty satisfying. The only negative thing is low ammo in map 28, it really ruined my day :) -Enkeli33-

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
