Fucking insane level. So many monsters everywhere! It is a well designed level though. I was afraid it was going to be some kind of crappy nuts.wad ripoff or a hell revealed-style map where the map would have an extremely absurd amount of enemies. 4/5

This is an epic level -- it took me over 2 hours to complete with many an agonising death. More often than not, you will find yourself standing in a place of relative safety with limited ammo or minimal health, wondering which way to go. In house fighting is essential so playing on UV -fast has it's advantages. Those damned Pain Elemental certainly spice things up a little -- I ended up with over 2000 kills. 5/5

A good, big and open map with too many hitscanners in big open areas. If you can get past that its worth a play if you like harder stuff. - SoccerGhoul

Also excellent for playing with one virtual life. By doing so "Keep Running" is not a good thing. Knowing the environment, planning a route and knowing what the kill and what not becomes important. It turns out that berserk, megahealth/armor/inv ul are there where I had to clear everything. (I wouldn't go for the first backpack btw). Getting rid of the pain elementals and taking the plasmagun was essential for me. coldfusio

Somewhat bland in most places, but tough as nails with lots of action and limited health/ammo, somewhat too limited for a HR-style map. Overall worth a look if you like running around and do some monster-bashing, 3 stars

Good challenge but the end got carried away a bit.

The gameplay is very good; not too tough but a real nice challenge; and the gameplay doesn't get repetitive or stale. There were some creative implements for getting around tough spots, too. The architecture and ambiance of the level were very nice. The overall cohesiveness of the map was a bit lacking tho. Most of the level is cohesive but there are some parts that seemed pointless and didn't really fit, like they were randomly inserted from a different level.

"Keep running" has to be the worst title for this (maybe intentionally) because doing that gets you raped. Good wad.

A truly excellent non-linear map, which has so many areas and monsters that it's a bit like playing two maps in one. I recommend that you stay very focused at the beginning as you'll be in for quite a fight. Really well designed.

This is an entertaining and tough level, with an E1-style design, large and monster-packed (500+). The textures are sometimes wonky and there's an irritating reliance on hitscan monsters. It's designed so that you can't easily stand still and fight, you have to keep moving; you are free to stir up a hornet's nest, and there's no shortage of action. Sometimes irritating e.g. the spider battle, the final fight. Very good overall though.

A well designed Doom2 style map with good challenging gameplay. Nice and dark, a tad unrealistic in areas (height of the sky varies dramatically). But you have to fight it out from the very start and there is no hiding, with many shotgunners and only a bit of health it makes it extremley difficult. You must create fights in order to proceed. On the downside there is no difficulty settings. But still a pretty good level. 4 Stars -PC

You don't get nearly enough ammo to take care of the Barons and Hell Knights that are all over the fucking place near the beginning of the map. It's linear in that if you don't follow the ammo trail, you're fucked!

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
