About This File

This is decent sized map with lots of baddies to kill, not to much in the way of puzzle solving. and a few secrets to find, be carefull, some are traps. Save Often. This level was origionaly designed for the New Doom Community Project 2 before it was canceled.

^^ LOL the person above gave this 4 stars! (A wise descision). Now with my review: This level was much fun to play. It was tough and you are made to fight from the very start. It reminded me a bit of TNT evilution in areas, a 1995ish look. There were a few texture misalignments and the exit sign in the exit room would have a horrible tutti frutti in engines that do not remove this bug. Not the best level in the world but still highly reccomended. 3.5 Stars out of 5. -PC

Okay, the map is pretty average and long so based on the map alone this would deserve 3.25 stars, but I'll give it just 2 because: -the zip has the files in a folder which is crappy design -THERE'S NO README IN THE ZIP, WTF???

A very nice map with inconsistent difficulty: secrets which are near death encounters are not cool. Still, it's pretty darn good.

I realized that I accidentally moved the text out of the file after I sent it, and i tried to re-upload it but it wouldn't let me :(

This is dated September 2007. It's fun, in an old-fashioned style, with occasionally unpolished design (odd textures, bunched-together secrets, harmless slime, painful floors). It starts off good but the underground sewer section lets it down a bit. Still, the gameplay's not bad, although sloggy underground, and I was surprised at the lack of a proper boss battle. Not as good as the same author's "Halls of the Unhallowed".

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
