This is a great episode, but rendered obsolete by http://www.doomworld .com/idgames/index.p hp?id=15645, which has three of them! Actually, I thought Ty had the rule that in a compilation, the individual files must be deleted, but somehow this (and NMD2) slipped through.

Took me back to the days of old... loved it. Didn't notice the misaligned textures or anything like that as I don't believe it makes too much difference to the actual game-play - well done Fiend, keep em coming. 4/5

I felt like I was playing a lost episode of Doom. Simply Brilliant. 5/5

Excellent E1 mapset. It has just enough details to keep the levels interesting looking. 5/5

Excellent job! I enjoyed playing through this wad. It has just enough detail, and great gameplay. Kept me playing through all of it, but I felt like it lacked something, which even I don't know what is it. Anyway, 4/5 from me. -Moti

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
