Pretty good. It's annoying that I couldn't find the way out of the lava pit after toasting the arch-vile, and I thought some areas were a tad dull, but, yeah, a good map.

Not bad. It's a bit on the bland side in most of the maps. It's still worth checking out. 3/5

A pretty average map over all, the detail is bland and simple, a few interesting fights but nothing special. Worth playing though.

This is dated August 2000. It's a pretty good large-scale dungeon / castle level, with a few modest source port features. The gameplay is pretty unsubtle and old-school, with gangs of monsters in a series of frequently symmetrical rooms. The start is nicely non-linear though, and the design is chunky and likeable in a bread-and-buttery way, with some LEGO-like stairs. Gets blander as it goes on, and there's an irritating shoot-the-switch puzzle.

This is exactly the kind of levels I enjoy the most. Midschool style. Not extreme detail, but decent one, some core of minimalism with nice details and shadows here and there, with great architectures and classic gameplay. Some great ideas in this one too and several bridge tricks. 5/5 - Optimus

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.
