About This File

A music only wad containing some of the rejects from 2002ado and several other of my past projects. All songs are original and composed by me. Feel free to use any of these songs in your wad, level, etc. Music replaces all 32 levels, plus title, interpic and intermission in Doom 2. Works with vanilla doom2.exe.

Well... the musics are mostly good, but were they ever used in 2002ADO or anywhere else? I wouldn't think so...

Why would I want your rejects? If there not good enough for you PC, then I can't imagine anyone else wanting them.

I personally find these songs quite enjoyable so just because they are rejects doesn't mean they suck.

Most of this guys stuff is a joke these days and this is no exception. I wonder what this new Whispers of Satan will be like? 6 hour un-skipable cut-scenes? By the way, the score for this is 1 star

The implication is that this guy thinks his rejects are as good as most people's polished gems, and I hate that.

Guys, you're idiots with some exceptions. Paul Corfiatis did his best and you dishonor him. Don't be silly, please. I got bored with most of the original DOOM tracks after listening to it more than twice, but these songs are unforgottably perfect. 10 stars P.C. deserve out of five, and the other five are for not writing any copyright on his songs. Get rotten stupid dudes!!!

Oh come on, this is an innocent upload and you faggots try to find "ignorance" where there is none, the archives were meant for sharing, and the midis here actually are decent. This is just what I was looking for actually, a soundtrack to use alongside the better classical megawads so that I don't die of boredom with D_RUNNIN and the rest Doom 2's hideous soundtrack, ie Kmeg1, Realm of Chaos, and Cleimos. No one's forcing you to use them in your own shitty projects either. 5/5 - DeathevokatioN

It doesn't quite fit your levels (hence why they're rejects), but most of them are pretty good pieces of music. I guess practice makes perfect. 4/5

Yes, it's 1995, yes, it's quite old, and yes, very late compared to recent work or any work from 2010 onwards. But this is where the real flavor of being able to enjoy this megawad lies. Despite being quite old (older than me) Memento Mori fulfills the simple premise of being fun and simple. It is not a great innovative work nor a technical marvel, but it is an important pillar to be able to analyze with a better retrospective how far the authors have come to give us such spectacular maps. You may have already played it for this point, especially if you're one of the veteran OGs, but if you haven't, or if you're new to the community and want to go down a path where you can appreciate the past and present, Memento Mori is a good stone to cross.   The maps are so 90s that it makes you want to turn on a walkman and put on your Nike Air and play it properly. Sure, that's an exaggeration, but not too far from the truth. These are pure vanilla maps, almost raw. They offer excellent quality for the standard that was 1995, but they may look a bit dull by 2020. That doesn't mean they are bad maps, for the simple reason that a bad map means a boring map and Memento Mori is not boring. There are small and easy maps as well as big and scary maps and a few maps with a few tricks up their sleeves. An odyssey through many designs that were so innovative in their early days that we now take them for granted. If you haven't tried it, do it, nothing like improving your perspective on Doom mapping and feeling a little old in the process.

      Combines perfectly with Mars War!
So yeah, its Mars War Status Bar for me :P

Nice status bars, been using them for wads that doesn't have a custom status bar when i'm lazy to make one myself hahaha :P

This is probably the best megawad of the '90s. You will find here all that is considered bad about doom mapping, but at the same way, you will find tons and tons of creativity, and also, a strong message in the process.
Really, '90s can't get better than this at least in the storytelling department.
The gameplay is fun for the most time, but some maps suffer from being a little longer than needed, making them tiring.
The story is neat, driving the player through semi-realistic and high abstract locations made up with tons of interesting and contextuals details that advance the story forward. Really good usage of what Doom engine can make in it speechless way.
As i said, some maps are longer than needed, and also, near the end, the ramps up in difficulty is obsene, even in the easiers difficulties.
But from the storytelling side, this is five over five.
A real achievement on what and amateur can make with just passion and humor.   Thanks Nathan Lineback for your satirical rant agains MS.
