About This File

Step into the circuits of the Prototype, a rogue android scheduled for termination but freed in a time of dire need. Trash the opposition of the First Invasion with a plethora of new weapons and dazzling special effects. Complete with a new heads-up-display and a full-fledged reloading system, Zero Tolerance is almost a Total Conversion in its own right.

A seperate text document, zp-zeros.txt, has been included and contains the full storyline and whatnot. Rejoice, ye who are interested in that kind of stuff. The plotline somehow ties into that of Zen Dynamics, but its main connections are currently unknown.

A true masterpeice indeed! This is by far one of my favorates next to Diaz: Last Hours of Purity. Same story here: excellent looking sprites, originality, not too many, not too few, pefectly balanced set. Legendary 5/5 -Bishop

Find a way to make it work with the bots, but until then 5/5 It's polished and you really have to change weapons depending on the thread, so I like the balance too.

I'm using the latest gzdoom like you said and there's no option to bind a reload key, once the clip runs out it's done forever. Also I'm not sure if it's supposed to come with new maps or not, the textfile says All but I don't have any.

Wtf is up w/ the new human enemies? The old humans seem like harmless little butterflies compared to these guys. They're quick to shoot, are very damaging when they hit, and since most levels are full of them, they are frankly just overpowered. Way more dangerous than the vast majority of their demon overlords.

Wonderful. Simply amazing. Needs a Cacoward or two, it does.

Wonderful set of weapons, but one fatal flaw IMO: the Susan Pistol. A slot 2 weapon that fires slow projectiles which damage the player is a shoddy replacement for the shotgun. Other than that, good mod.

Even though you didnt add any new levelsets, you still get a *legendary* rating for this gem. 5/5

Not bad. I wasn't too impressed with it to be honest. The chainsaw is pretty sweet and that bouncy laser gun thing is kinda fun to use and the new enemies are ok. Aside from that, it's kinda cool. Zen Dynamics is better IMO. 4/5

The weapons as a whole just don't have a good power curve where the little weapons are fast and weak, and the big weapons are lacking in power and are slow as hell. There's just no single weapon that one could feel comfortable with, you are constantly switching because of ammo imbalance or because the weapon you are using just won't cut it for some random enemy that pops up.

This is just pure awesomness, but there's one problem for me... The Infinity was quite weak compared to normal BFG, but other than that - Epic! 5/5

This is a great wad. But I did find faults in it. The Photon pistol and the bouncer machinegun are poorly designed and there are WAY too many sound effects from Quake 4. Otherwise a great wad no one should miss. -SamVision

There's so much to say about this wad, but I'll restrict my thoughts to one comment: the music replacement for level 3 sounds like it was ripped from the Sims. Also, 5 stars.

David, you are crazy. Very good weapon mod, well-balanced and funny. The best after doom3 weapons

This weaponset is the freakin' bomb. The guns themselves are all original, balanced, have just the right look and feel, animate superbly, and don't break the game in any way. I could go on about all the things this wad does right, but I don't want to bore everyone. This is, in my admittedly worthless opinion, the best weaponset out there, barely edging out Weasel's Agent Diaz.

This is a really solid WAD through and through. The action starts as soon as load into E3M1 and it doesn't let up. The maps flow very well and give you a decent but fair challenge. My only nitpick is with E3M7, which felt a bit gimmicky. Otherwise, this is a great effort, especially for 1994.

A decent E1 replacement. The maps are mostly non-linear and they feel good to play, although there's a few odd design choices that lead to dead-ends in couple places. The maps are too easy, mostly thanks to an overabundance of items, but they're still fun enough to navigate, thanks to a good handle on basic architecture. The standout is easily map 5.

Neat little map. The custom textures are impressive for their time. The map doesn't flow too well and the encounters aren't anything special, but it's a cool piece of Doom history.   The whole concept of modeling a school is obviously taboo nowadays, but it's still worth a try.

A huge improvement over the first part. The maps are fun, filled with interesting encounters and a diverse enemy variety. The architecture is simple but efficient. I particularly like how a couple of the maps make you circle around back to the starting area. The music is fun and cheesy, although a couple tracks failed to loop on my end. Overall, the difficulty is balanced, except for map 2, which stands out thanks to a very nasty trap.

I'm sad to say that I didn't have a good time with this. The maps are uninspired and confusing, while the enemy placement feels random. There's very little sense of progression through the maps. I can't knock it down too much due to its age, but by my modern standards, I wouldn't recommend it.
