The spidermastermind fight was fun - I had to get it to infight w/ a caco, in order for me to slide by and get the red key.

The map was easy to navigate, but was not much to look at. The map is very bland in its texturing theme, and architecturally, does not resemble an average  level from 2008. This visually looks like a map from a far earlier mapping period. Lots of 90-degree rooms, and very simple geometry.

Even w/ all of this in mind - it was still an okay 4-5 minutes worth of fun, even if a bit of a drab experience...

People liked the spider part, that's for sure, but it was pretty average in gameplay design, and architecturally a bit disappointing. Very easy on uv, also. 4/5? I don't think you earned it.

This has the feel of an early 90's map. Passed the time for 5 mins. 3/5

not really all that great, good for a first map thats for damn sure, but it lacks many things including height variation. by the time i grabbed the plasmagun i had already killed everything in the map. either case keep trying you'll get it eventually 2/5 - hnsolo77

Nice old school style map. It was pretty easy to move around in. I'll give it a 4/5.-Candle M

A bit funnier to play. Too minimalistic. But nice for a blast. 4/5 - Optimus

Yeah, the architecture is very basic. It's like someone's first try. At least there are no bugs or things that shouldn't be there in vanilla WADs, except the Doom Builder camera, but that's more DB's fault. [2/5] ~Chain Mail (07/2008)

Not too bad. Pretty good gameplay. Spider demon was a good surprise, and a pain to get rid of. 3/5 -r_rr

A good first effort, nice texture use and a pretty decent layout. Gameplay is good, Nothing really in terms of architecture though. 4/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
