Way too much doors and 90% of them are useless. I like wads where you can explore the area and stuff like that, but this is just way too much. There a lot of monsters, and the placement of them is decent though. Most of the rooms look a bit bland too. The cyberdemon fight at the end could've been interesting, but all I had to do was just flip a switch to exit the level.

2/5

A map with many rectangular rooms but no attempt in any interesting level design. There aren't any secrets to be looking out for, instead you have doors scattered around in some rooms serving as what limited exploration there is. With how boxy the map is, it becomes uninteresting to complete rather quickly. It may be a functional map with plenty of monsters and weapons to use, but there are other WADs, including older ones, that have made better attempts in creating fun maps.

I would not release my very first wads, because they are afwul like this one. But you will improve yourself: just keep an eye on detail now and spend more time on one level. Then you will see that you can create much better maps. 1/5

Fun sometimes, but a lot of annoying doors (even though sometimes I like to open doors and smash everything one by one). 3/5 - Optimus

Its a pretty good map that replaces E1M1. A few secret areas would of been nice, but I liked it! 4/5!-Candle M

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
