Another awful map. And what was the deal with the number of secret areas? Geez. Unplayable. 0/5!

I'm actually giving this 2 stars because of how silly it is. Maybe it's not a joke WAD, but nonetheless it managed the same effect but without making the joke obvious. Besides, I had some fun in a few areas. The exit is quite reachable (I got there), although I doubt all the monsters are killable... I'll admit I won't bother to verify this. ~Chain Mail [2/5] (07/2008)

I got lost and it was annoying to play, and it was uglier than satan.

This map contains many unobvious doors, which can be annoying, and some secret areas which seem completely pointless to visit. Also, the contains many maze-like areas, and the detail that is there usually wasn't applied very well. Evidently, this is probably the author's first map. I hope to see him improve in the future, as there is plenty of room for improvement.

Well IMHO the beginning was okay like the room after the caged hallway but everything else..... Yuck.... Also its kinda annoying when you have to hunt for a secret door to find your way out... And the point that you have to kill some Hell knights and other baddies when you have only a poorly loaded shot gun and chaingun only makes the map even more frustrating..... 1/5

This is dated October 1994... oh, hang on, it's modern. Could have fooled me. This is basically a late-1994 / early-1995 map, poorly-detailed, loads of texture errors, missing textures, pointless mazes, unpegged elevators (deep breath) uninteresting gameplay, empty rooms (deep breath) von Hautkopft of Ulm. And there's no structure, I just ended up wandering into the exit, with no feeling of having achieved anything.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
