I definitely liked this one. It has a decent old-school appearance, it's fun, and neither frustrating nor too easy. If you try to push the time killing stuff the cyberdemons can be deadly because of their placement (especially the one in the hall), although some hidden powerups (and that BFG) can help. I think this one should have won the contest it was part of, considering the other levels from there that I saw uploaded to /idgames. [4/5] ~Chain Mail (08/2008)

That was pretty neat. I hated the use of cyberdemons though, especially in that one hallway near the room with those archviles. It made the level feel pretty amaeturish. The music wasn't that great either.

Pretty good. Where does the map's music come from?

I thought this was a lot of fun. City map. Plenty of action. All weapons are present in different locations. A few cybers, some archviles, revs, barons, hell knights, etc., some small hordes. Simple design but looks nice and it's cool how everything connects with each other. But, the whole eastern half of the map gets closed off if you teleport out of that area, making 3 of the 4 secrets inaccessible. 5/5 from me

I really enjoyed this, the theme a city with cars and a trip to underground hell, it has the theme building I like. And it surely has action too. 5/5 - Optimus

This is dated November 2002, although it feels like a good map from 1995. It's a town-style level, with a hellish interlude. It has 191 mostly middling baddies. The start suffers from the typical problem whereby you have to clear lots of identical small square rooms - the designer had a thing for corpses in front of televisions. You get a plasma rifle and loads of plasma, and it's not hard; it gets harder, but cops out by giving you a BFG. Oddly flat ending.

Okay level design, good for practising strafing.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.
