Well designed slaughter map overall and a solid introduction to the style. Fights are challenging but manageable. Ammunition placement isn't too stiff, so as long as you are playing smart you should never run out. The environments are unique and well thought out. I could personally do without the overused Heretic music and the occasional points where things slow down and become more vanilla-like (hurting the intense slaughter flow), but overall it's a fantastic map.

extensive slaughter map with just the right amount of detail to lug through. plenty of awesome and hard combat with great visuals. on easy settings you get plenty of invulnerabilities, so it should also cater to those who really don't like slaughtermaps in general and want to play on an easier setting. impressive on every account.

Massive map with a very high level of detail. Gameplay is rather casual, entry-level, slaughter by modern standards, without too much pressure on the player. 4/5

While slaughter haters may want to pass, still one of the most epic single levels I've seen. Fans of a good long journey through slaughter territory, but not *just* repeated slaughter, will find this map an absolute gem to have.

This is one of those meaty, manly levels that's basically non-stop carnage, with 2,000+ monsters. The gameplay is twofold; you can be ultra-cautious and take ages, in which case it's not too hard, or you can get stuck in and die a lot like a real man. The library section is notably less interesting than the rest (it's just square and maze-like), but overall it's great fun, with lots of nice touches.

Eternal has redeemed himself after the somewhat disappointing Remain III. This level is great fun for all the lovers of HR style levels. It's not terribly difficult because there's an abundance of health and ammo, but there's a lot of action and not a dull moment in sight (I even liked the library section). Some of the monster hordes are a little predictable, but the level kept me solidly entertained for 2+ hours.

Wow! Just made it with 2.5 hrs of play and many saves on U.V. HUGE level, great battles and atmospheric design, 4.5 out of 5. I'm stuffed! BTW only found 1 secret area out of 14. Where were the rest?

This is one of the best (slaughter)maps I've ever played. Ever. Five stars and then some, awesome work as usual, Eternal!

This map is testament to Eternal's skill at slaughter maps, and also to the fact that it is impossible to run out of ammo in his bigger maps. Took me about 2hrs 11mins to wipe out more monsters than the entire of UDoom had, largely with the BFG and RL. Tonnes of fun - 5*

On the visual aspect this level is huge, with vast rooms and areas plus some brilliant architecture. Areas resembling Deus Vult. Plus on UV the 2,168 monsters you face include 32 Cyberdemons and 99 Archviles and a single Former Human at the exit. While I'm not the biggest fan of HR style levels, this one was certianly fun to play. The secret exit is very hard to find. 5

HOLY CRAP MAN. This is perhaps one of the best WADs I've ever played, seriously. On Hurt Me Plenty without cheats, it took me around 3 1/2 hours to clear; but the action was plotted out well enough to keep me engaged all the way through. Also, I lol'd at the final enemy. Legendary WAD; 5/5 -The Unholy

Extremely impressive, huge, brutal, epic, and so on, you get the point. Had an issue that prevented me from enterin the very last area though. Dunno if it was because of Skulltag, complevel, the map it self, or whatever, but this must be rated 5*

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.

What the actual f*ck is this map. I love having 4 rockets, a shit ton of bullets and like 10 shotgun shells to take out a revenant, and whatever was in that cage. Doesn't look too bad, maybe this negativity is cus im no expert, also rather unskilled at the game?

thank god Underhalls was the map that followed this mod as that level was able to remind me what actually competent level design looks like.

Not that bad, even kind of interesting find the secrets in the map! But yeah, that switches jungle is a awful choice really.

A basic and nice looking showroom type of map where monsters are trapped inside glass prisons, no exit and no way to play this with any modern source Port like DSDA-Doom and GZDoom, but works really well in Crispy Doom. It was a pleasant experience.
