mysterious house

This is dated September 1997. It's a compact dungeon-style level that's perhaps a bit too compact at the start. Despite being small, with a modest monster count, it feels meaty and it's good fun to play. It would have made a great Map01 in a megawad (the ending leads on to a forest), except that you get a wodge of weapons and loads of ammo, so perhaps it wouldn't have been so appropriate. With just the double shotgun it would have been harder = better.

The mystery here is not huge, but the map is pretty good.
