Decent map w/ a lot of symmetry - but that's to be expected from a WAD based on a real place.

I took it upon myself to look the library up on Google Maps, and you can definitely see what the author was going for architecturally - the library in this map is pretty close visually to the one in real life! It even has the little cube sculpture out front!

Doom isn't the best medium to recreate real places, but it does an adequate job here. In terms of gameplay, the map is very easy! One should have no problem beating this map on UV. The most difficult part of this map is its navigation. It is a little bit of a switch-hunt.

Monster placement is surprisingly good for a map of this type.

Check the map out, and then look it up on Google Maps! You'll definitely see the resemblance! :)

This is just what I want. Real world simulated levels with reasonable enemy placement. Could have used a few extra hell barons near the end though.

Well, it's obviously full of copy-paste, symmetry and flat rectangular rooms but the level is at least somewhat interesting to explore and the central room is cool IMO. Still, nothing special, at least for those who haven't been to that library.

Libraries are helpful; schools are not. 4/5

someone needs to make a new school themed map that doesn’t suck - this map is nice and open and the action is alright at the beginning, but it got a little irritating looking for the keys in the later parts of the map 3/5

Not bad for 1996. Secrets were a bit of a pain, and gameplay is extremely easy, but over good. 3/5 -r_rr

This is dated 1996 and is probably one of the better 'this is my house / place of work' wads that seemed to be popular back then. I don't think it is a 5/5 wad though. 3/5

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.

It's pretty good for 1994. If you don't mind having no health items at all (except in a few maps) and the outrageous amounts of cyberdemons per map, you should give it a try. It's pretty challenging and I like it. E2M3 is a bit 'eh...' though.
